...but the Lord establishes [our] steps

We’re excited, scared, (and honestly, a little frustrated) to announce, we will be visiting the USA soon. (Frustrated, at losing momentum gained, as well as the added expenses of travel.) For reasons beyond our control, we must unexpectedly leave Thailand, while some immigration/visa things are worked out. While leaving is not what we would’ve chosen at the current time, it will be nice to get to visit family and friends, and get some practical things done as well. That being stated, we are working on an itinerary for our trip, so stay connected to see when we’re in your area.
The team we’re leaving behind, are young, but growing in their confidence to lead each other, as well as the church congregation. We’re excited for what they will do in our absence. We want to take a moment to honor our friends and co-laborers Chris and Sarah Santimays - who have been so supportive and helpful. They will be in charge of practices and prayer time while we are gone. (Pray for wisdom, strength, and patience, as they will have many hats to wear for a period of a couple months.)
While we are gone, we still have two books in translation that will be ready to send to printer when we return; and we have a few students already committed to attending the next term in August. The "option" to leave came suddenly, so we were caught a little off guard. We will be spending the next 30 days busily preparing things here to get ready to go and setting things in order for us stateside. If you are curious about the turn of events, feel free to ask! ~Timothy, Jr.

Have we got a story to tell. Several of you reached out at the conclusion of the 2021 school term to inquire as to our next steps (even our translator, Joopjip, and others here locally were waiting for that decision to know how to plan their next steps). We spent much of January both of us sick, which allowed for a lot of time for prayer (some lamenting) and seeking God. We did not hear a clear directive so we set a date for the next school term and began working to improve the dorm, to get another book sent for translation, to organize our syllabus, etc.
I recall telling most people that when God doesn't speak, continue doing the last thing He said, until He says otherwise. That was our approach - to continue preparing to start the next term unless He put up a big "Stop sign" at which point, we would stop. Well, February rolled around and, while we do not believe God himself erected a stop sign, we do believe He knew something was stirring. We made a plan, based on the last thing He said, but He will establish each step we take to obey His word. (Proverbs 16:9) We look forward to connecting with as many of you as possible April, May and June. ~Misty
